Pure Sound from Hemp-Fiber Cone and Dustcap
Arsenal Subwoofers include 10% HEMP fiber blended into each speaker cone and dust cap. Not only does HEMP fiber make the cone stronger, it also reduces internal loss within the speaker diaphragm which creates clearer sound. HEMP also acts like a natural low pass filter to eliminate unwanted frequencies in our subs. HEMP is an eco-friendly material used in clothing, rope, and even automobile manufacturing because of its tensile strength. Its manufacturing qualities make it a great material for speaker cones - although not great for smoking, so don't even try ;)
Rapid Fire Impedance Selector Terminal
Every audiophile understand the importance of impedance, and like a true enthusiast you're likely to be changing your set-up frequently, to make this easier we've introduced a jumper system that changes the voice coil impedance with one easy motion. This allows you to switch between Parallel, Series, or Bi-Amp configurations without any additional wiring. Terminals are also fused which prevents damage caused by current overloads if you stuff it up!
This example shows how to wire up two subwoofers to mono amplifier in parallel on a 2 ohm load. The Rapid Fire Impedance Selector Terminal offers an easy way to change the impedance on your installation without full re-configuring the wiring in your system.
Exclusive Cone and Dumper
To ensure you're getting the best in performance, we take out repeated tests on our Arsenal subwoofers to achieve improved amplitude performance of the cone and dumper. This means the unit can faithfully reproduce transmitted signals (sound), and even process long-stroke signals that are often lost.
Smart Trim Ring
The Smart Trim Ring found on JVC Arsenal subwoofers allows for both forward and backward attachment, together with the specially designed screws to match the high quality finish you're able to get a "show-car" style finish regardless of how your subwoofer is installed.
T3 Chassis (Thermal Transfer Technology) Structure
With great power, comes great heat, to help combat the excessive heat produced by high performance subwoofers, we have developed the T3 chassis which enhances heat dissipation and prevents sound pressure decline as your sub gets pumping. The Aero Vent causes air fluidization in the center, and the Heat Transfer Silicon provides smooth heat transfer for prompt radiation. The heat is also dissipated from the Air Vented Aluminum Cast Basket. The outer form of this subwoofer also promotes heat loss.
